Specifications include, but are not limited to: STATUS OF RIGHT OF WAY A. At the time of the project advertisement, the City of Lincoln has not yet acquired all public right-of-way, permanent easements, and temporary easements necessary to complete the work. It is anticipated that all public right-of-way, permanent easements, and temporary easements necessary to complete the work will be acquired prior to the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. B. The Contractor shall refer to the drawings for the locations that cannot be accessed to complete the work until public right-of-way, permanent easement, or temporary easement has been acquired. C. The City Project Manager will notify the Contractor when the public rightof-way, permanent easement, and temporary easement have been acquired. PHASING PLAN A. In order to minimize disruptions to users, it is required that the Contractor progress with construction, testing, and disinfection of the proposed water main in the sequence outlined below. B. The Contractor shall construct 16-inch, 24-inch, and 30-inch water main from STA 100+25 to STA 182+97 including the water main connection at STA 100+25 and blowoff at STA 182+97. Flushing and sampling locations to be coordinated with Lincoln Water System. C. The Contractor may submit an alternate project phasing plan prior to or during construction. 1. This alternate project phasing plan must be approved by the City Project Manager and Lincoln Water System. 2. Changes to the phasing plan shall be submitted in writing to the City Project Manager at least 7 days prior to beginning work impacted by the proposed change to the phasing. D. The construction of the project will require shutdowns and disruptions of water service. For the purposes of bidding, the Contractor should understand that the shutdowns and disruption of water service shall be coordinated with Lincoln Water System and all impacted customers and may require after-hours construction. SITE ACCESS A. The Contractor shall use rocked construction entrances as shown on the Drawings to access the permanent and temporary construction easements. B. The Contractor shall not disturb ditches and vegetation within the ROW. Areas disturbed by the Contractor shall be returned to pre-existing conditions at the expense of the Contractor.
