Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Braxton County School system is requesting proposals from a qualified public entity or private firm, to establish a contract for security camera installation at 5 elementary schools. Each school will require a separate proposal and an overall proposal for all five schools. Terms of the contract will be negotiated upon contract award. Longer initial, extended terms or timeframes for full installation will be considered depending upon the proposer’s submission. This will be a sealed proposal format because of the potential overall cost of the project. Braxton County Schools is seeking a security camera company/vendor to provide proposals on all equipment and labor (including training on the system and warranty information) for installation of security cameras at Burnsville Elementary, Davis Elementary, Frametown Elementary, Little Birch Elementary and Sutton Elementary Schools. Proposals will include outside buildings, concessions, athletic fields, playgrounds, parking lots, school entrance points, and interior spaces such as office spaces, hallways, and self-contained classrooms. The district is requiring security cameras to be installed in strategic locations around the exterior to capture the perimeter of all facilities with a focus on entrance points, parking lots and playgrounds. Meraki cameras or a comparable IP product with similar dashboard configuration is required. Due to E-Rate regulations cameras will need to be segregated on their own IP camera network. The IT department will assist with system integration, but the proposer should include credentials that display an understanding of networking and networking security. The proposer will need to include any electrical work as part of the proposal to ensure the signal is properly relaying back to the storage. The installation will need to include wiring, removal of old camera wiring (when applicable) networking, aiming, configuration of all cameras, switches, warranty and support pricing and licensing.
