The Department of Public Safety, Division of Alaska State Troopers, is soliciting proposals for specialized training and certification of DPS personnel. Training must be based on real world flight situations in a geographic area with prevailing VFR weather condition to minimize breaks in training. The Contractor shall provide as-needed Emergency Maneuver Training (EMT) and Upset Recovery Training (URT) utilizing the Rich Stowell method and as-needed specialized curriculum addressing the characteristics and tendencies of the diverse fleet of DPS aircraft.
