Specifications include, but are not limited to: The South Dakota Department of the Military is soliciting Statements of Interest from firms interested in providing professional Architectural and Engineering design services for the Sioux Falls Readiness Center Addition (PN465060) project located at Bahnson Avenue, Sioux Falls, South Dakota 57107. The Sioux Falls Readiness Center design was completed in July 2022 and the construction contract is being awarded with groundbreaking tentatively scheduled for November 2022. The new facility is anticipated to be complete Fall of 2024. The design of the Readiness Center incorporated provisions for future building envelope connections an addition. The scope of work for this project is to develop a conceptual design (35% design) for an 11,000 SF addition to the future Sioux Falls Readiness Center. The conceptual design will need to comply with National Guard Bureau submittal requirements which includes an accompanying Project Manual and Project Book. Firms desiring to be considered for providing professional services for this project should send a Statement of Interest that outlines their qualifications and experience for this project. Statements of Interest should clearly address each of the following criteria: 1. Project approach and methodology to meet the project requirements (15pts); 2. Project teams specialized expertise, capabilities, and technical competence to meet the project requirements (15%); 3. Ability and proven history in handling special project constraints (Scope, Time, and Cost) (15%). 4. Proposed project management techniques. (10%); 5. Proposed QA/QC process for development of construction plans and verifying owner requirements are met. (20pts) 6. Proven knowledge of all codes, National Guard Bureau Regulations, Standards, and Criteria and the ability to integrate such codes, regulations, standards, and criteria into the construction plans and technical specifications. (20pts) 7. Ability to integrate project commissioning and commissioning requirements into the design and construction of a project. (20pts) 8. Availability to the project locale (15pts); 9. Familiarity with the project facility and site (30pts); 10. Resources available to perform the work, including any specialized services and identify their assigned roles within the project. Identified team members must maintain assigned role through the duration of the project unless otherwise approved by the owner. Include resumes of each team member’s professional accomplishments and experiences with similar projects. (20%); 11. Record of past performance, including price and cost data from previous projects of similar size and scope, quality of work, ability to meet schedules, cost control, and contract administration. All projects completed with the Dept. of the Military within the last 5 years must be included. (20%);
