Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Notice announces that the Center for Impact Finance (CIF) at the Carsey School of Public Policy, University of New Hampshire, is seeking 8-10 individuals or organizations to provide subject matter expertise and curriculum development services to support the Credit Ready Meat and Poultry Lending Initiative which CIF is developing under a cooperative agreement with its partner the Rural Business Cooperative Service at the US Department of Agriculture. The Initiative is part of a larger effort to improve access to capital for projects involving the start-up or expansion of meat and poultry processors in order to increase processing capacity and help create a more resilient, diverse, and secure U.S. food supply chain. Successful respondents will collaborate through a Virtual Pilot Learning Lab curriculum development process to develop and test a virtual certification course for lenders interested in launching or expanding a financing program for meat and poultry processing businesses. Each participant will receive an equal honorarium of between $8,000 and $10,000, based on the number of participants. CIF anticipates that participation will take no more than 50 hours including prep and follow up time over a six-month performance period starting in November 2022.
