Specifications include, but are not limited to: Inspection Services: 4.1.1.1.Inspections shall be conducted annually by the Vendor in accordance withNFPA 72 standards. A copy of the current inspection status of inspections will be provided to the Vendor awarded the Contract from this solicitation. A PostAward Conference will be conducted to coordinate a schedule of when Inspections shall be performed. Vendor shall ensure that inspections are performed annually and ensure that panels are never “out-of-date” on inspections. Inspection shall include the following: 4.1.1.1.1. Visual inspection and functional testing of fire alarm control panel components and power supplies. 4.1.1.1.2. Visual inspection and functional testing of remote power supplies (when applicable). 4.1.1.1.3. Load testing of fire alarm system and remote supply standby power batteries. 4.1.1.1.4. Visual inspection and functional testing of automatic and manual alarm initiating devices. 4.1.1.1.5. Visual inspection and functional testing of audible and visual notification appliances. 4.1.1.1.6. Visual inspection and functional testing of emergency two-way communications systems (when applicable). 4.1.1.1.7. Verification of alarm signal transmission to central station (when applicable). 4.1.1.1.8. Visual and functional testing of remote system annunciators (when applicable). 4.1.1.1.9. Verification of graphic map device locations (when applicable). 4.1.1.1.10. Functional testing of HVAC and damper control relays (Excludes Certified Pressure Test). 4.1.1.1.11. Functional testing of door releasing relays. 4.1.1.1.12. Documentation of system testing and when applicable generation of system deficiencies report. 4.1.1.2.After an inspection, the Vendor shall generate a report of inspection results in accordance with NFPA Standards for submission to the Agency. The report may be in an electronic format available to the Agency. In such a case, any database information collected will remain the sole property of the State of West Virginia. 4.1.1.3.If there are any deficiencies arising from the testing of the fire alarm system (i.e. bad smoke or heat sensors, panel components, etc.) the Vendor shall tender a cost estimate to the Agency to correct the deficiencies. 4.1.2. Repair Services: 4.1.2.1. During the life of this Contract, the Agency may have the need for system repair services. Repair service calls shall be placed to the Vendor by an authorized Agency representative and on-site response shall be guaranteed within twenty-four (24) hours of the receipt of the service call. 4.1.2.2. If the Vendor is unable to respond on-site within the given time allowed for any repair services call the Vendor must contact the Agency, in writing, prior to the expiration of the given time allowed. The deadline to respond to on-site may only be waived or extended by written approval of the Agency. Written requests and approvals may be in the form of fax ore-mails. 4.1.2.3. Liquidated damages will be imposed against the Vendor in the amount of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) a day for failing to meet the required onsite response time unless written approval is obtained from the Agency.
