This infrastructure supports its network build that will span 24 towns in Southern Vermont. The architecture of the private cloud is a 3 server VMWare farm with storage and networking. It also requires software licensing. The private cloud will host servers to provide the following services; DHCP, DNS, NTP, Authentication, Monitoring, Alerting, Backup, Disaster Recovery, High Availability, Speed Testing, Domain Services, SMTP, VMWare Management, and Network Management Tools. The current expectation is to place a single order with the winning vendor. A potential second order may be placed to acquire cable management that has yet to be determined.
