Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. At Potomac Highlands Regional Jail and Correctional Facility, there are two (2) existing liquid gas propane (LPG) gas vaporizer that is located at the propane farm. There is one (1) that was replaced in 2013 and the other was replaced in 2019. The one that was replaced in 2013, must be replaced with new. The contractor must remove the existing and replace with new. In addition, the contractor must also replace the regulator and piping. Additional information on the project is listed below. B. Existing liquid gas propane (LPG) vaporizer information: 1. The existing hot water heaters are manufactured by Alternate Energy Systems, Inc. 2. Model no. WB208 3. Serial no. WB 13-7616 4. Contractor must remove existing liquid gas propane (LPG) vaporizer and replace with new. C. The existing liquid gas propane (LPG) vaporizer must be replaced with a model WB-308 liquid gas propane (LPG) vaporizer manufactured by Alternate Energy Systems, Inc. The new liquid gas propane (LPG) vaporizer must meet the following requirements: 1. The design is based on an atmospheric liquid gas propane (LPG) burner supplying energy to a water/glycol mixture through a series of vertical fire tubes. 2. During operation, the vaporizer burner heats the water/glycol bath in the vaporizer. liquid gas propane (LPG) then enters the vaporizer’s helical process coil and is heated by the waterbath inducing vaporization. An adjustable waterbath temperature controller regulates the ON/OFF cycle of the burner in response to the waterbath temperature. The liquid gas propane (LPG) vapor then passes out of the vaporizer’s heat exchanger into the vaporizer’s external vapor header. From there the LPG vapor travels either to a synthetic natural gas (SNG) system or directly to the consuming equipment. 3. Vaporization capacity, 308 gallons per hour, 585 kilograms per hour 4. Waterbath capacity, 165 gallons, 750.105 liters 5. Heat exchanger design pressure, 250 Psig, 1.72 Mpa 6. Heat exchanger test pressure, 375 Psig, 2.58 Mpa 7. Shell design pressure, atmospheric 8. Waterbath operating temperature (adjustable), 160 °F, 70 °C 9. Electrical, 110-volt, single phase, 60-hertz 10. Burner fuel input, 370,000 BTU/h, 100,000 Kcal/h 11.
