Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of these programs is to strengthen Nevada’s workforce and address Nevada’s COVID-19 public health emergency’s negative economic impacts by providing sectoral job training to primarily underemployed and underrepresented workers, including low- to moderate-income, people of color, women, low-wage workers, and those without a college degree, specifically those who have been impacted by COVID-19. The successful vendor must be able to deliver a program that can work with workforce and economic development organizations, private industry, government, and educational institutions to enhance the skills of underemployed and unemployed Nevadans impacted by COVID-19.
