Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide strategic stockpile and logistics services for the purposes of providing IDOH with warehousing and storage, logistics, and surge operation planning (including emergency distribution) services to ensure a ready and properly-maintained supply of essential medicines, medical equipment, and related items that can be mobilized on regular or emergency notice to designated locations throughout Indiana. The strategic stockpile services shall include a detailed and accessible inventory management system and ability to handle regular incoming and outgoing deliveries. The logistics services provided shall include planning and potential implementation of distributive functions for stockpile materials at the request of the State, including during emergencies requiring additional staff and planning.
