Specifications include, but are not limited to: Gary Community Schools seeks an agreement for lit fiber service to provide Internet service to and WAN connections between its eligible sites and the District’s two network head-ends, located at Williams Elementary School, 1320 E 19th Avenue, Gary, IN, and Glen Park Academy at 5002 Madison, Gary, IN, beginning July 1, 2023. Bidders are advised that this project will be contingent upon the successful obtaining of E-Rate funding and a District-issued Notice to Proceed, and the contract agreement between the District and the selected vendor must recognize that contingency. WAN endpoint sites to be connected to the head-end sites are listed below. 1. Bailly Middle School – 4621 Georgia Street, Gary, IN 46409 2. Banneker at Marquette Elementary – 6401 Hemlock Avenue, Gary, IN 46403 3. Bethune Early Childhood Center – 2367 E. 21st Avenue, Gary 46407 4. Beveridge Elementary School – 1234 Cleveland Street, Gary, IN 46404 5. Frankie McCullough Academy for Girls – 3757 W. 21st Avenue, Gary, IN 46407 6. Gary Middle School - 301 Parke Street, Gary, IN 46403 7. West Side Leadership Academy – 9th Avenue and Gerry Street, Gary, IN 46406 8. Gary Area Center – 1800 E. 35th Avenue, Gary, IN 46409 9. Gary Schools Building and Grounds Department – 3840 Georgia Street, Gary, IN 46409 In each building, the selected vendor will demarc the service in an existing network closet to be designated by the District.
