Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), Dam Safety Program (DSP) has acquired a Grant through the FEMA High Hazard Potential Dam Program (HHPD). The DSP plans to use this grant funding to hire a consultant to perform portfolio risk assessments of seven HIGH hazard potential dams in the State of Vermont that have been rated in POOR condition based on periodic inspection. Accordingly, the DSP is seeking technical and fee proposals from qualified dam safety engineering consultants experienced with dam inspection, hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analyses, dam failure analyses, flood inundation mapping, flood impact/downstream consequence analyses, and qualitative and semi-quantitative risk assessment for dams.
