Specifications include, but are not limited to: he West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources Purchasing Division is soliciting bids on behalf of WDHHR/Office of Health Facilities (OHF), to establish an open-end contract for Comprehensive Inpatient and Outpatient Claims Coding Services, Billing Services and Collection Services for the seven State owned and operated hospital facilities. The services will complete abstracting of claims data from the clinical system inside of the facilities data systems prior to submitting to the clearinghouse. Services are to be performed remotely (off-site), therefore, it will be necessary for the vendor to provide their own staffing, facility and operational resources and to demonstrate a secure ability to interface with the Facilities Electronic Health Records (Medsphere’s CareVue) and ADT/Billing systems (Optimum and Experience Care). The Clearinghouse currently being utilized is Availity. All systems are cloud based and are accessible via URL, with interfaces built between them for 835/837 file exchange.
