Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Lincoln, hereinafter referred to as Owner, is requesting bids from qualified companies for the material and labor associated with the demolition of Fire Station 8 and abandoned concrete structures beneath the station at 2760 S. 17th Street (17th and Van Dorn), Lincoln, NE 68502. 1.1.1 See Drawings and Technical Specifications in the Attachments tab in Ebid for the project location. 1.2 The Bidder’s Line-Item pricing in Ebid shall include all costs for labor, supervision, materials, supplies, permits, licenses, and any other related costs required to perform the services requested in these Specifications and other biddocuments. 1.2.1 Bid submission shall reflect the products/service listed in the Ebid Line Item according to the Specification documents, Drawings, Contract Agreement, Insurance Requirements, and any other related bid documents included in Ebid. 1.2.2 Any mention of compliance with the General Specifications shall also mean the compliance according to the terms of all other documents attached to or referenced in the bid. 1.3 Contractor shall maintain existing functions in the surrounding Park and protect the general public, employees, and other buildings against damage during all portions of the project. 1.3.1 Any damage done to the surrounding area which is not part of this project will be immediately repaired by the Contractor at no charge to the Owners. 1.3.2 Contractor shall not store construction products, tools or supplies in an area other than what is designated as a staging area. 1.4 The Owners will execute a firm-fixed contract for the work to be performed under the terms of an awarded contract. 1.4.1 The Owner reserves the right to allow adjustments to the contract should there be a substantial change in the nature of the workinvolved. 1.4.1.1 Such adjustments must be made in the form of a written contract amendment signed by both the Contractor and the Owner at the time of the change.
