Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Vermont Developmental Disabilities Council is seeking proposals for the development of a research brief (hereafter, the Housing Brief) regarding service-supported housing models for people with developmental disabilities. The Housing Brief will address two areas: (1) Quantify the need for alternative residential models in Vermont’s Developmental Disability Services. (2) Describe six (6) to eight (8) successful residential service models supported by Medicaid Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) funding that are used in other state developmental disability service programs. The residential models reviewed must collectively span the continuum of support needs within the Developmental Disabilities Services population, which ranges from individuals who live relatively independently to those who need 24/7 support.
