Specifications include, but are not limited to: HVAC chillers to be replaced may be water cooled or air cooled. In the case of a water-cooled chiller, funds will be made available to replace the chill water and condenser pumps (associated with chiller replacement). In the case of an air-cooled chiller, funds will be made available for the chilled water pumps associated with chiller replacement. The intent of this solicitation is to replace electrically powered, existing air-cooled chillers with higher efficiency air-cooled chillers and to replace existing water-cooled chillers with higher efficiency water-cooled chillers. In both cases, funds shall be used only for work directly associated with or in support of removal of existing chiller(s) and installation of proposed chiller(s). Additional costs such as Direct Digital Controls (DDC) upgrades and chiller pad modifications shall not exceed 20% of the total loan amount.
