Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1 Provide national, regional, and localized economic and employment data that will allow local and state administrators in the South Dakota Technical College System to: 2.1.1 Analyze regional industries and how they relate to the broader labor market. 2.1.2 Find top jobs and evaluate the long-term occupational outlook of careers. 2.1.3 See real-time trends based on the kind of workers that regional employers are looking for. 2.1.4 Adjust curricula based on the market's most in-demand skills and certifications. 2.1.5 Develop and review programs with relevant data on employer demand and the competitive landscape. 2.1.6 Focus marketing efforts with data on population, race/ethnicity, and gender. 2.1.7 Translate course content (learning outcomes, syllabi, etc.) into work-relevant skills that are recognized and valued by employers. 2.2 Provide data queries and return filtered results and methods to download structured data to be consumed in various college and business intelligence systems and reports.
