Specifications include, but are not limited to: ● Experience in contentious settings and complex real estate transactions in a public agency. ● Provide appraisals of surplus property, market conditions analysis, listing, sale and closing services for those properties sold and rental assistance should a property be leased. ● Assist in the sale, lease or rental of property by providing real estate documents, processes and assistance to complete the desired outcome that meets the requirements for sale, lease or rental of public property in the State of Minnesota. ● Assist District staff in the evaluation of options for sale, lease or rental of surplus properties to include evaluation of market conditions, understanding of potential uses of the property and provide appraisals and market condition assessments for surplus property. ● Organize and hold public stakeholder meetings. ● Provide monthly status reports and project schedule development. ● Advertise properties through a variety of marketing techniques. ● Provide open houses and other showings as needed to effectively market the properties and maximize the return to the District.
