Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Public Works is seeking bids for Class 2 and 3 uniforms, including short and long sleeved shirts; short and long sleeved Polo shirts; jackets; rain gear; hooded sweatshirts; and quarter zip fleece sweatshirts.; Class 3 Short Sleeved T-shirts, Lime & Black: a. Shall be 4.1 oz/yd fluorescent lime polyester birdseye knit; b. Shall meet color, performance and care label recommendations per ANSI/ISEA 107-2015.; c. The fabric shall be treated with an inherent wicking finish to transport moisture away from the body to aid in keeping the body dry.; d. Shall meet third party certificate of compliance for the background material as required by ANSI/ISEA 107-2015.; e. Background material shall be certified to 75 home washings.; Class 3 Long Sleeved T-shirts, Lime & Black: a. T-Shirt designs shall be long sleeve with crew neck collar and a left pocket.; b. The minimum amount of visible background material shall be 1000” for size Small and all other size minimums remain unchanged at 1240 in.; c. The minimum amount of retroreflective material shall be 310 in remains the same for all sizes.; d. Sizing – Smallest t-shirt shall meet minimum amounts of material as specified above (b and c).; e. Garment designs shall conform to ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 Section 6 for Performance Class 3.; Compliant Class 2 Birdseye Polo Shirts, Lime & Black: a. Polo shirt designs shall be short and/or long sleeved with a collar.; b. The minimum amount of visible background material shall be 775 in.; c. The minimum amount of retroreflective material shall be 201 in.; d. Sizing – smallest polo shirt shall meet minimum amounts of material as specified above (b and c).; e. Garment designs shall conform to ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 Section 6 for Performance Class 2.
