Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Corrections, Division of Health and Rehabilitation Services (department) is soliciting proposals for a contractor to facilitate Alternatives to Violence (AVP) workshops at the Wildwood Correctional Complex (ECC) in Kenai, AK and the Hiland Mountain Correctional Center, in Eagle River, AK. The goal of this project is for a contractor to provide AVP programming to address several criminogenic factors to decrease violence and increase offenders' abilities to manage conflict effectively and non-aggressively. The contractor shqll provide a certified AVP Lead Facilitator to coordinate and supervise a minimum of two certified AVP Facilitators. The AVP workshops the contractor shall provide are Basic 118 hour, Advanced 18 hour and Train the Trainer 18-hour AVP workshops.
