Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD or District) intends to engage the services of a qualified firm(s) to primarily aid in the evaluation of Mesa Community College’s HSI-STEM Guided Pathways Enhancement Project Title III Grant. Additional grant evaluations may be requested on an as needed basis by MCCCD. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit responses from qualified evaluation firms to primarily provide a comprehensive evaluation for Mesa Community College’s HSI-STEM Guided Pathways Enhancement Project Title III grant. The HSI-STEM grant has three goals: (1) increase the number of Hispanic students who graduate with STEM degrees; (2) enhance transfer and articulation models between two- and fouryear institutions, and; (3) support student-centered program services and activities to improve student outcomes. The successful Contractor must have: ● proven abilities with government-funded grant projects; higher education management policies and initiatives; qualitative and quantitative research; program evaluation; and report preparation; ● evaluation expertise in the area of academic strengthening, institutional change, and instructional design; ● excellent communication It is the intent of MCCCD to negotiate with the top ranked proposer(s) and reserves the right to award one or multiple agreements as a result of this process, if deemed in MCCCD’s best interest. The goal of this comprehensive process is to provide ongoing identification of areas of success and potential improvement with thorough documentation of all grant activity objectives.
