Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of New Hampshire, Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) is seeking qualification and experience statements with expressions of interest from professional engineering consulting firms. Contract work assignments will include environmental site assessments, site investigations, remediation design, and remedial implementation at petroleum and hazardous waste contaminated sites and Brownfields and CERCLA grant-funded sites throughout New Hampshire. The work is expected to involve all phases of the corrective action process from site characterizations/ assessments through remedial action oversight. Assignments may also include hazardous building materials surveys and abatements, water system expansion engineering, and solid waste engineering and geological services. Selection criteria will include demonstrated experience with: • initial site characterizations and site investigations • remedial action plans and remedial designs • pilot/bench studies of chemical injections and other treatments • remedial system installation oversight • hazardous materials building surveys • hazardous building materials abatement • remedial system operation and maintenance • vapor intrusion site evaluation and remediation • drinking water source development, system extensions, and upgrades • TSCA projects involving hazardous and asbestos building materials • Brownfields projects for NHDES or EPA grantees • Solid waste engineering and geological services, and • CERCLA projects (including pre-remedial) for NHDES and/or EPA Region 1
