Specifications include, but are not limited to: Washing will be accomplished inside at both locations with the exception of equipment located in the actual landfill. Contractor will be responsible for cleaning up after washings are completed.: 1. Contractor shall take necessary steps to prevent paint oxidation or discoloring.; 2. Cleaning soap and degreaser shall be approved, environmentally safe, bio-degradable product with a pH range of five (5) to eleven (11 ). Acid base cleaners are not acceptable.; 3. The equipment/washer must be self-contained and mobile.; 4. Washer must have a water temperature of not less than 125 ° F. and not more than 200 ° F.; 5. Washer spray pressure shall not be less than 1,000 psi.; 6. Spray tip range must be adjustable (changeable) from approximately twenty (20) to six (6) degrees spray fan to accommodate varied wash conditions.; 7. Check for, and close, all cab windows or notify Fleet Services personnel if doors are locked, to prevent water and soap from being sprayed into the cab.; 8. De-icer: An approved de-icer shall be applied when the ambient temperature is 25°F or lower. The areas around the doors, windows and locks shall be dried prior to the application of the de-icer.
