Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Obtain a building permit from the Town of Johnston (State portion only).; 2. Set up and erect safety equipment as required by OSHA.; 3. Design and furnish any and all materials, labor, and equipment to install/erect an Exterior Sign with Electronic Message Center at Rainone Gym located at 45 Mill Street in Johnston, Rhode Island, as specified.; 4. Apparatus/Materials/Equipment is to include, but not limited to: * One, double-sided, aluminum fabricated outdoor rated sign approximately 12 feet in overall height (given consideration of locally overhead utility lines).; * A single, metal post base approximately 6 feet tall to help avoid vandalism or other types of sign tampering. Steel support pole, installation, and burial is to include any and all necessary re-bar and a reinforced concrete footing.; * A white, LED internally illuminated sign cabinet, approximately 4 feet high, 5 feet wide, and 20 inches deep, to accommodate navy blue (or similar), commercial grade, vinyl printed lettering indicating “Town of Johnston – Rainone Gym – 45 Mill Street” from top to bottom of the sign cabinet. Color options and design to be provided for review and approval.; * Non illuminated, gabled roof header to include commercial grade, vinyl printed Town of Johnston Seal/Graphics on both sides of the header.; * Bid pricing is to include the furnishment, installation, and support for single-sided or double-sided, monochrome, LED electronic message center (EMC) options. EMC size is to be consistent with the width of the sign cabinet. The EMC is to have remote programming capability similar to Town Hall and the Indoor Recreation Center.; * Any necessary covers, casings, and/or trim are to be painted in outdoor rated, material appropriate satin dark gray and satin black finishes. Color options and design are to be provided.; * The sign materials and equipment are to be commercial grade, comply with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA Compliant), and cannot include any equipment listed as banned by the act.; * Furnish and install any and all wires, cables, fasteners, brackets, splitters, extenders, and connectors as needed for full system installation and proper function.; 5. Perform all work according to State of Rhode Island Building Code and all relevant codes.; 6. Proper state license required.; 7. All required line voltage supplies to equipment must be done by a Rhode Island licensed electrician.; 8. All labor is prevailing wage as per State and Federal Guidelines.; 9. Leave premises clean and orderly.; 10. System supply and installation is to be fully functional with an on-site user tutorial.; 11. One-year full warranty of parts and labor at no charge, including technical support as needed.; 12. Furnish and honor all manufacturers’ warranties as listed.
