Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1 The successful vendor must be able to provide, at a minimum, the following services: 3.1.1 The vendor must have at least 15 years of experience at performing inspection, repair, and overhaul of all major airframe components of the Bell 407 helicopter. 3.1.2 All work must be performed in a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or Transport Canada certified repair station and the repair station must be certified to perform such service on Bell 407HP helicopters. 3.1.2.1 Proposing vendors must submit copies of their FAA or Transport Canada certifications within their proposals. 3.1.3 The repair station must have a complete set of support tools to perform inspection, overhaul, and repair of the airframe and its sub-components. 3.1.4 The chief inspector of the repair station must be Bell Helicopter Factory School trained in overhaul of components on the Bell 407HP helicopter. 3.1.5 The proposing vendor should have a management program which encourages and is non-punitive towards employees who come forward and identify any in-house maintenance errors. 3.1.6 Vendors are asked to provide detailed information regarding the warranty of the services offered in response to this RFP.
