As part of the project, LRSC would like to have a stand built that the old gearbox can be installed on for educational purposes in the classroom. The stand needs to: • Mimic the up tower mounting position of the gearbox and provide access to all inspection ports, main shaft compression coupler and all ports, valves, sight glass, highspeed shaft and hydraulic pump access. • Be mounted at four-point wi castors rated at gearbox weight. • Have gearbox mounted on the stand and relocated in the LRSC wind lab.
