This RFI is a request for information only to aid WASD in putting together a schedule and timeline to ensure availability of buses to start the '24-'25 school year. In looking forward to the '24-'25 school year and current forecasts for the pupil transportation industry at that time, how long would you estimate it would take your company to aggregate a fleet of 250 buses, compliant with the Standards for Idaho School Buses and Operations (SISBO) by August 1, 2024, to start a new contract with a new client? Our fleet requirements will be 210 Type C buses with a seating capacity of 72 passengers and 40 buses for special needs students to be equipped with wheelchair lifts. Maximum age of any bus in the fleet is to be 12 years old. Complete bus specifications will be set forth in the upcoming Request for Proposals.
