Specifications include, but are not limited to: · Design of required wastewater treatment facilities; · Consultation with City staff regarding appropriate construction procurement method including consideration of design, bid, build and Construction Manager at Risk.; · Provide design, permitting, bidding, construction and administration services appropriate to the selected project delivery process.; · Support City staff in evaluating and seeking additional funding sources and scenarios.; The City has elected to move forward with upgrades to the existing WWTF facility. Overall, the major components with this alternative include the following: · New grit removal system with two (2) grit chambers and grit washers/classifiers.; · Replacement of the influent flow measurement; · Replacement of primary clarifier equipment; · Replacement of the aeration blower system; · Two (2) new 70-ft diameter secondary clarifiers; · New UV equipment; · New digester boiler/heated building; · Digester gas and pumping system upgrades; · Digester cover replacement; · Laboratory remodel; · Plumbing and HVAC replacements throughout the plant; · Electrical replacements throughout the plant; · Associated sitework and valve replacements
