Specifications include, but are not limited to: Building 310 has three fire suppression systems which currently use water mist. The contactor shall replace the water mist systems with chemical type suppression systems. The first suppression system shall cover two 18ft hoods, the second shall cover two 20ft hoods, and the third shall cover one 4ft hood. The three suppression systems shall meet UFC 3-600-01, NFPA 96, and NFPA 17A requirements. The contractor shall supply suppression and detection to interface with the existing suppression system. The work included for this project includes but is not limited to the following: A. Shutting off gas lines and altering a gas line. B. Installation of chemical suppression system. C. Connecting Simplex fire alarm to new suppression system. D. Vermont public safety Proof of inspection tag, design, permits and final inspection. E. Operational test of system F. Training/walkthrough with VTANG personnel
