Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4. VENDOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS 4.1. The vehicle furnished under these specifications shall be new 2023 model, standard production pursuit-rated vehicle as manufactured and advertised for delivery in the continental United States and including all equipment normally offered and installed at the factory. 4.2. A pursuit-rated all-wheel drive (AWD) Ford Explorer Police Interceptor Utility AWD Hybrid 4.2.1. Police Interceptor Utility Hybrid (AWD) – Standard 4.2.2. The manufacturer will build the vehicles to these specifications and the selling or servicing dealer will be required only to perform the normal pre delivery service and not be required to modify, alter, exchange, assemble, install or paint various components to meet these specifications. 5. VEHICLE 5.1. 2023 Model Year Police Pursuit Vehicle 5.1.1. Ford Explorer Police Interceptor Utility AWD – Hybrid. 5.1.1.1. This is the only acceptable model. 5.1.2. Quantity of one (1) unit. 5.1.3. Exterior paint - Oxford White 5.1.4. Interior – black/dark cloth. 5.2. All manufacturer advertised standard equipment for a 2023 Ford Police Interceptor Utility Hybrid AWD shall be provided including the following options: 5.2.1. Rearview camera displayed in rearview mirror. 5.2.2. Reverse sensing system; 5.2.3. Full wheel cover; 5.2.4. Badge delete “police interceptor”; 5.2.5. Blind spot monitoring with cross traffic alert; 5.2.6. Pre-Collision assist with automatic braking; 5.2.7. Police engine idle feature – allows key removal from ignition; 5.2.8. Cloth seats front and rear; 5.2.9. Red/white cargo area dome light; 5.2.10. Keyless entry with three FOBS; and 5.2.11. Standard hitch. 5.3. Miscellaneous: 5.3.1. Manufacturer’s standard equipment jack to comply with GVWR must be supplied 5.3.2. Vehicle shall meet all current Federal DOT and State highway motor vehicle standards. 5.3.3. Manufacturer’s service, repair, and diagnostic information (manuals) shall be included with the vehicle.
