Specifications include, but are not limited to:• Perform field and topographic surveys. • Coordinate with other City utilities, private utilityowners, and Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF). • Work with the City’s right of way agent to obtain needed right of way and/or temporary easements prior to the letting. • Prepare the necessary legal descriptions needed for acquisitions (if required). • Develop a traffic control plan for the project. • Develop and submit conceptual drawings (30% complete) with an estimate of probable construction costs (EPCC). • Develop and submit field-check drawings (60% complete) and an updatedEPCC. • Develop and submit office-check drawings and project manual (90% complete) and an updated EPCC. • Develop and submit final drawings, project manual, invitation to bid, bid form, and a final EPCC for the purpose of bidding the project. • Respond to questions from prospective bidders as necessary. • Prepare addenda as necessary. • Prepare a tabulation of bids and make a recommendation of award for construction. • Prepare two grant applications for this project, one for the planning project and the other for the bridge project category, following the Notice of Funding Opportunities for the 2022 Bridge Investment Program managed by the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration.
