Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Minnesota Department of Transportation is seeking repair services for the Morris salt shed which was damaged in a storm on May 12, 2022. Greystone Construction was the original supplier and installer for the salt shed. The warranty for the salt shed was effective on June 23, 2017 and states that the panels must be supported by the Natural Light Fabric Structures (NLFS) manufactured end support systems and engineered to meet site wind load and building safety requirements. Further, the fabric building is a proprietary system. To maintain the warranty on this structure, and safeguard proprietary information, it is the intent of the Minnesota Department of Transportation to utilize Greystone Construction to perform the repair work. The repair work has been deemed a single source as Greystone Construction was the original supplier and installer of the salt shed. Additionally, the building is a proprietary system that Greystone Construction is a certified installer for NLFS. Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification.
