Specifications include, but are not limited to: Training Development: The Contractor shall work with the ESD Central Office team and any additional designated State staff to develop the curricula, syllabi, and training structure for an interactive and engaging leadership development training to be presented to approximately 30-40 ESD staff members in total. The Contractor and ESD shall work together to schedule both the dates and frequency of the planning and design meetings, which shall occur approximately 2-3 times on a weekly basis in order to gather insights and additional information on training needs. The Contractor shall collaborate with Economic Services Division Human Resource staff to incorporate training material around performance management. The training shall be one (1) full day and three (3) half day sessions in total (including breaks) and be offered on agreed upon dates and times in the fall to winter of 2022. The Contractor shall incorporate the following objectives into the training focused on ESD Supervisory staff: 1. Providing positive and/or constructive feedback to staff both as a group and on an individual basis.; 2. Leading and supporting staff that may be at different levels (i.e. those who go above and beyond, those that are content with doing the minimum, etc.).; 3. Preventing staff burnout.; 4. Supporting supervisors internally.; If case scenarios will be utilized as part of the training, the Contractor shall work with the State to design fictional scenarios; the Contractor shall not have access to any State data. The Contractor shall design and develop training materials, in both written and electronic form, based on the needs identified during the planning and design meetings; these training materials may be used for the training as well as by the State as ongoing staff aides. DCF shall approve all training material proofs before they are created in final form.; Training Delivery: The Contractor shall deliver the leadership development training on four (4) dates in the fall to winter of 2022. The first training shall be a full day session and the following three trainings shall be half day sessions. The exact dates, times, and location of each training session shall be mutually agreed upon by the Contractor and ESD. The State shall be responsible for arranging the location venue(s) for the trainings. If any of the trainings scheduled cannot be held on the originally scheduled date(s) or in the desired delivery format due to unforeseen or uncontrollable circumstances, the two Parties shall work together to select another date, time, and/or format, including virtual or hybrid options. The Contractor shall provide all attendees with a Participant Guide, which shall include, at a minimum, room for note taking and exercises, key information, definitions, and/or learning points. The Contractor shall administer the developed performance measure tools, inclusive of a post training survey, to training attendees as outlined and agreed upon during the design and planning meetings.
