Specifications include, but are not limited to: The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection (WVDEP) is soliciting bids to establish a contract for U.S. Address Validation and Geocoding Services (Address Validation Service). WVDEP seeks a solution to batch-process the validation and geocoding of approximately 200,000 U.S. addresses. Then, after the initial clean up WVDEP, wants to access ongoing address validation services. WVDEP’s goal is to have one correctly formatted, geo-coded and validated address for every responsible party, permittee, and/or facility in its database. WVDEP must retain 100% ownership of the resulting data after it is enhanced with supplemental information from the address validation and geocoding services.
