Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project consists of a geotechnical investigation for the proposed Coalwood Bridge replacement in McDowell County, West Virginia. The bridge will carry WV Route 16 over Perry Camp Branch and is located just northeast of the intersection with County Route 2. The new bridge will be constructed on the same alignment as the existing bridge with a slightly longer span. A bridge plan and profile were furnished by Randolph Engineering for use in preparation of this report. The replacement bridge will consist of a single-span structure approximately 34 feet in length with fully integral abutments supported by a single row of H-piles.
