All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: Switchgear Arrangement 1.1. The Switchgear shall consist of 8-36” units, numbered 1 through 8, left to right, when viewed from the front breaker drawout side. Upper cells will be referred to as “A” and lower cells as “B”. 1.2. All breakers shall be mounted in the lower, or “B” cells. Cells to be used as Main, Feeder, and Tie Breaker cells, will be as shown on the attached drawings. All breakers shall have associated CT’s located as shown on the One Line Diagram. 1.3. Relay test switches for the transformer protection relays and one set of three potential transformers shall be mounted in the “A” cell above the main breaker. This set of potential transformers shall be connected to the source side of the main breaker. This cell shall, also, contain the terminal blocks for the interconnection to the transformer and circuit switcher. Proposed layout to be shown on the attached drawings. 1.4. Transformer relaying devices, meter devices and the control power fuse with Kirk Key Interlock shall be in an “A” cell adjacent to the main breaker cell. Proposed layout to be as shown on the attached drawings. 1.5. Feeder protection relays and control devices are to be mounted in their associated “B” cells. 1.6. Tie breaker protection relays and associated test switches shall be in the “A” cell above the tie breaker. The control devices for the tie breaker shall be in the same cell as the tie breaker. Proposed layout to be as shown on the attached drawings. 1.7. A second set of three potential transformers shall be mounted in one of the spare “A” cells and shall be connected to the switchgear main bus. 1.8. The connection to the main bus from the power transformer shall be in the same unit as the main breaker. 1.9. The approximate overall dimensions of the switchgear shall be 8 ft. high, 8 ft. deep, and 24 ft. long.
