Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide Fixed Route and Trolley Bus Shelter Cleaning. Each shelter shall be cleaned of trash and debris both on the ground and in the trashcan at each site. During the spring and summer (or as needed in other parts of the year) each shelter’s grass shall be trimmed around the concrete pad a minimum of 5 feet and a maximum of 7 feet at a minimum of once every other week. If graffiti, stickers, or signs (not placed by METRO) are present at the shelters all effort must be given to remove them. If they are unable to be removed the Contractor must notify METRO staff of the occurrences so that they can replace the damaged structure(s). There are eight (8) structures that are required to be pressure washed (both the concrete and amenities) every quarter. The remaining 97 structures will only need to be pressure washed once a year. If METRO street signs are present at the shelter all effort must be made to correct sings that are leaning or bent. If the signs can not be repaired METRO staff should be notified so that the sign can be replaced.
