The project consists of renovations needed to reconfiguring the interior space and fit-up by converting the open space concept to accommodate additional individual office spaces and associated mechanical, electrical, and fire protection (M/E/P/FP) reconfigurations and upgrades needed for this new President’s Suite. The infrastructure and utilities serving adjacent spaces and floors are to remain as-is and stay fully operational during construction. The vision of the University is to provide a modern space in both function and aesthetic for the University’s Presidential Suite. The University is interested in innovative and cost-effective solutions to creating this new executive space to house the relocation of the President’s Office, Cabinet members and associated staff.; Conceptual Building Elements: President’s Inner Suite; to include the President’s Office with potential direct entry to an adjoining Cabinet Conference Room, the executive assistant desk accompanied with a reception space along with a hosting prep space.; Conference Rooms with A/V enabled; Several Private offices.; Additional enclosed space for conferencing.; General space for printing, filing and office supplies storage.; Secure space with Transact card access.; Scope of work is likely to include but not be limited to the following: Renovations to existing and construction of new offices.; Reconfiguration and renovation of existing office cubicles.; Renovations to existing and construction of new conference spaces.; HVAC, Electrical and Fire Protection adjustments to accommodate new space build out.; Furniture solutions; A kitchenette with a sink, in the hosting prep space, is desirable, subject to extent of plumbing requirements.
