All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: Looking to acquire the services of a Department of Justice certified Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Auditor to conduct annual PREA audits pursuant to the Federal PREA standards for prisons and jails.; • The contractor shall provide a federally certified PREA auditor to audit RIDOC facilities pursuant to the federal PREA Standards for Adult Prisons and Jails, the Department of Justice PREA Auditor Handbook, and in accordance with all guidance and requirements from the Department of Justice.; • The contractor shall complete all phases of the PREA Audits and submit to RIDOC all facility interim reports no later than forty-five (45) days after completion of on-site audits and all facility final reports within thirty (30) days of completion of corrective action periods.; • Contractor shall complete all functions attributed to the “auditor,” “PREA Auditor”, or “Certified PREA Auditor” as identified throughout this document. Contractor shall provide all associated clerical work related to the contractor’s responsibilities.; • The contractor shall provide RIDOC with audit notices in English and Spanish containing all necessary information to inform inmates, staff, and the public of the onsite facility PREA Audit, including, but not limited to, the dates of the onsite visit and the auditor’s contact information.; • Contractor shall immediately notify the RIDOC PREA Coordinator of any changes in the assigned PREA auditor’s certification status and ensure completion of all audit activities by a federally certified PREA auditor in good standing.
