Specifications include, but are not limited to: Chassis: The chassis must be of sturdy welded steel construction and designed for proper weight distribution and loading to obtain maximum traction and maneuverability under all ground conditions while operating or towing grooming equipment. Cab: The cab must have a single seat for the driver. The cab must include three (3) Halogen headlamps, two (2) lamps facing forward and one (1) headlamp facing the rear. The gauge panel must include engine temperature, oil pressure, voltmeter, tachometer, and an hour meter. The Dozer must be equipped with a roll over protection system (ROPS) roll cage to fully protect the operator in case of a roll over and must be OSHA certified. A written confirmation stating that the ROPS has met OSHA standards must be provided with the quote documents. Engine: The Dozer must be powered by an independent TIER 4, turbocharged diesel engine developing no less than seventy-four horsepower (74 HP) at manufacturer’s rated RPM, and capable of propelling the Dozer at five (5) miles per hour in high gear on a level surface. The Dozer must have a replacement element type oil filter and air cleaner. Transmission and Steering: Must be equipped with a hydrostatic transmission. Steering must be accomplished by using two (2) sticks independently controlling left and right tracks. The Dozer must have the capability of turning on its own axis or proximity thereof. The unit must be equipped with two hydraulic final drive motors that are rated at One Hundred Thousand (100,000) pound-force inch or more. Final drive motors must not exceed the width of the outside edge of the track pads. Tracks and Undercarriage: The Dozer width must not be less than thirty-eight (38) inches and no greater than forty-eight (48) inches; tracks consisting of steel link construction driven by suitable sprockets traveling on wheel assemblies. Provisions must be made for ample adjustment of track tension. Track pads must be eleven (11) inches wide. Service refill capacities: Fuel tank – twenty-eight (28) gallons; Hydraulic oil tank – thirty (30) gallons; engine crank case – six (6) quarts; cooling system – three (3) gallons.; Dozer Equipment Blade: The blade must be pilot operated and hydraulically controlled, capable of vertical lift, tilt, and angle sweep (6-way). A float feature on both vertical lift and tilt as standard. Blade must be equipped with upper blade extension that can be removable. Blade must have brass wear plates for all sliding surfaces. Ripper: The ripper must have three (3) shanks with adjustable depth and hydraulic float. Hydraulic Winch: The winch must be of hydraulic type, mounted on the ripper bar behind the Dozer, with a removable base allowing the operator to move the winch to the front blade. The Dozer must be equipped with a twelve thousand (12,000) pound snatch block. An eighty-five (85) foot length of (7/16) diameter steel cable must be provided with a properly attached hook. Winch receiver mounts must be installed on the ripper bar and blade to enable the operator to move the winch from rear to front of the Dozer. Service and Parts Availability: The availability of replacement parts and service of the unit specified is essential year-round. Vendors must indicate their ability to render prompt service by furnishing a list of branch offices or dealers where a complete stock of repair parts is maintained.
