Specifications include, but are not limited to: Construction of a new water distribution system that will link ANDCO’s newly-drilled well to (1) a storage and treatment facility and then (2) each of ANDCO’s 9 mobile home lots. Project Background The ANDCO Mobile Home Cooperative, Inc., has recently succeeded in drilling a successful water well to serve the member-residents in the cooperative’s nine manufactured housing lots. Now the community is seeking bids for the construction of the water distribution system. According to a 2021 Preliminary Engineering Report, the water distribution system will pipe water from the well to an underground (possibly pressurized) storage tank. From there, water will move to a pumping and disinfection chamber and then through a chloride-resistant PVC or Polyethylene distribution pipe containing a shutoff valve near the chamber. The same distribution piping will bring water to a branch for each of the nine mobile home lots.
