Specifications include, but are not limited to: Schedule Information: – 200 - 6” x 10’ long concrete planks Concrete: Cement, 658#/cubic yard, to yield 5000 P.S.I. in 28 days. ¾ Stone, 1600#+/cubic yard. Concrete Sand, 1350#+/cubic yard. Air Entrainment Agent, Daravair, or equal, 7-oz.+/cubic yard to yield 5-7% air content. Water, 30-31 gals/cubic yard to yield .40 w/c ratio. Water Reducer, WRDA #19, or equal, as required. Only Non-Chloride Admixtures may be used. Casting Date: Clearly marked on end of each plank. Curing Concrete: Water cured for three days beginning immediately after concrete placement. Form Removal: Min. 1500 PSI concrete, before forms are removed, however, forms shall not be removed sooner than 18 hours following concrete placement. Reinforcing Steel: Deformed ASTM A615 grade #60. Connecting Bars: ASTM A36 steel. Quality: Finished concrete planks shall represent good workmanship with clean, neat surfaces and grooves; and be free of honeycomb and cracks. Concrete shall not be cast during the months of December, January & February. Inspection: The concrete planks will be inspected at the point of delivery (Boating Facilities Division Area, Colonial Pemaquid Boat Ramp Bristol, Maine). Any concrete planks delivered and found not to meet specifications shall be rejected and the supplier shall subsequently removed them from the Boating Facilities Division Area, at no cost to the Buyer. Cost: Price includes the delivery and placement of the pre-cast concrete planks into stockpiles at the Boating Facilities Division, Colonial Pemaquid Boat Ramp Bristol, Maine. No delivery on pallets.
