Specifications include, but are not limited to: Wildfire hazard reduction work within designated treatment units will be accomplished through cutting of designated non-merchantable sized standing trees and hand piling of cut tree stems and limbs. Other slash disposal work includes bucking, limbing and hand piling of down dead wood less than 8.5 inches in diameter where pre-existing accumulations are present. Trees per acre stocking estimates are provided only to show the relative amount of work involved. Tree stocking estimates provided by the State are not guaranteed. The State strongly recommends that bidders evaluate all treatment units to make their own estimates prior to bidding.
