Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Administration and the Office of Facilities and Property Management (OFPM) repairs and maintains buildings dating back to the 1800’s, as well as fairly new facilities. OFPM seeks to implement an on-call contract for the Capitol Complex in Topeka for the purchase of various hollow metal materials, doors, and finish door hardware, as well as for occasional installations and repairs involving labor and materials provided by the vendor. The awarded supplier(s) will ensure building and certification of fire rated hollow metal frames and doors, and shall have current and consecutive performance in this industry within the fabrication shop to meet standards. The items to be purchased and possible labor situations may include, but not necessarily be limited to, any of the following items: Hollow Metals Fabrication of new hollow metal frames, including borrow lite frames. Purchase of new hollow metal doors. On-site hollow metal retrofit work. On-site field measuring of items. Wood Doors Purchase of new wood doors. On-site wood door retrofit work. On-site field measuring of items. Finish Hardware Purchase of new door hardware. Repurposing and installation of existing hardware owned by the State.
