Specifications include, but are not limited to: TWO SPEED DRILLHEAD: A. The unit shall have a two-speed hydraulic motor and it shall be connected to a bearing assembly having 1 1/8-inch hex box lower connection.; B. The unit shall provide two torque speed ranges for use while drilling 2 inch to 12-inch diameter cores.; C. The output rating for this drill head in the two different speeds shall be : - 100 ft. lbs. / 1,000 rpm; - 200 ft. lbs. / 500 rpm.; MAST / FEED SYSTEM: A. The unit shall have a hydraulic cylinder that provides 42 inches of stroke for the drill head. ; B. The drill head/ feed carriage shall ride on a set of rollers on a high strength steel mast having an overall length of 7 foot 11 inches. ; C. The maximum ratings for pull up and pull down shall be 14,675 lbs. and 10,175 lbs. respectively.; D. The unit shall have a separate mast slide cylinder that provides 20 inches of up and down movement of the entire mast assembly.; FEED RATE AND BIT PRESSURE CONTROLS: A. The unit shall have a separate feed rate control that allows the operator to adjust the feed speed from 0 – 62 FPM. ; B. The unit’s upward feed rate shall be at least 40 FPM.; C. The bit pressure control system shall consist of an adjustable valve, an on/off switch and a pressure gauge.; D. When the system is engaged the unit shall have the capability to be adjusted form 0 pounds to 5,460 pounds.; TRAILER: A. The unit shall be a tandem axle trailer; B. The unit shall have a GVW of 7000lbs; C. The trailer shall have a 7-pin round electoral plug.; D. The trailer shall be painted white to match the white drill rig package.; E. Trailer to include spare tire and wheel.
