Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project will consist of, but not be limited to replace the existing two Buderus boilers and associated boiler pumps with three rack-mounted 399 MBH boilers with a factory manifold and associated equipment such as new pumps sized for the new boilers. In addition, the existing 4-inch tangential air separator shall be replaced with a 3-inch combination low-loss header with built in coalescing media for air and dirt separation capable of removing free, dissolved, and entrained air from the heating distribution system. The two existing 3-horesepower circulators will removed and replaced with the new electrically commutated pumps as specified. Include modifying wiring from three phase to single phase as required by the pump literature. Remove existing variable frequency drive and replace with a service disconnect. Existing expansion tank and chemical feed system are to be re-used and relocated. All work will be performed as indicated on the drawings and specifications.
