Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Purchase diesel, gasoline, electric and propane engine driven school buses. 2. Various sizes type school buses. Class A Buses: Class A buses with a seating capacity of 10 to 24 passengers. Class C Buses: Class C buses with a seating capacity of 30 to 72 passengers. Class D Buses: Class D buses with a seating capacity of 72 to 81 passengers. 3. DOT inspection to be included on new buses. 4. Provide training for the district fleet technicians as well as provide data software and support to diagnostic equipment for school buses. 5. Include the install and purchasing of all equipment required for the use of school buses: Two-way radio, cameras system, GPS/Pre-Trip and Post Inspection and Z-Pass. 6. Bus must meet or exceed all current State of Texas Specifications for School Buses as published by the Texas Department of Public Safety specified under Transportation Code Title 7, Chapter 547.7015, Education Code 34.002 and Texas Administrative Code, Title 37, Part 1, Chapter 14. 7. Have an established brick and mortar facility to repair school buses, address warranty and recall repairs/services within 24 hours. 8. Provide warranty on new school buses: Drivetrain 5 years / 100,000 miles; Bumper to Bumper 2 years; Emission 10 years; AC(HVAC) 3 years. 9. Provide on-site repairs of warranty work and recalls if requested by fleet services. 10. Vendor must provide detailed floor plan with RFP.
