Specifications include, but are not limited to: The District is seeking a Vendor that can provide K-8 Math Curriculum (or a portion of these grades, i.e. K-5, K-6, 6-8, 7-8).; Materials and content must be research-based the Arizona College and Career Readiness Standards for math and the Standards of Mathematical Practices.; Engage students in problem solving, reasoning, and mathematical practices.; Lessons include multiple ways and strategies for students to show proficiency that cater to different learning styles.; Well-articulated across all grade levels.; Connects conceptual understanding, application in context, and procedural fluency.; Provide researched based strategies vs. rote memorization; Provides range of depth of knowledge questions and problems; Provides content materials that support the need for balanced and comprehensive system of Tier I; Tier 2-3 small group instructions, math centers/workshop activities, integrated spiral review.; Explicit use of, support with, and organization of: o Fluency; o Conceptual Understanding; o Problem Solving; Coherent and connects previous learning across grade levels.; Includes rich high quality tasks, problem based learning, and/or inquiry based learning.; Videos of modeled lessons; Integration of 21st Century skills (collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity); School-home connections for parents, which may include parent education materials, decodable texts to be copied and sent home for practice, language arts related games to play at home, etc.; Digital access to all grade levels.; Differentiated materials that are culturally responsive, relevant, support varied math levels and students’ interests.; Real-world connections to students
