Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Provide pick up and disposal of biohazard material services to Idaho State Veterans Home-Post Falls.; b. Disposal of Medical Waste must be in accordance with OSHA regulation 29 CFR 1910.1030.; c. Contractor and its employee must be properly licensed in accordance with OSHA regulation CFR 1910.120.; d. Contractor must provide eight (8) hard-sided Bio-Hazard container with markings – Size of containers between 28"/40" High, 23.5"/36" Wide and 20"/35" Depth – Bins offered outside of these ranges cannot be accepted due to the limited space available.; e. Contractor must warranty their containers and offer free replacement if containers become unserviceable or unusable for any reason, Contractor agrees that if bins are damaged that the facility will not be held liable.; f. Pick-up of the biohazard waste will be once a month; schedule will be agreed upon in writing between the awarded contractor and the facility.; g. Service must also include critical extra waste pick-ups within twenty-four (24) hour response time, supply extra needed Biohazard Regulated Medical Waste bins if requested and apply no additional trip charges.; h. It will be the responsibility of the Facility to have the biohazard waste materials at an identified central location for pick up by the Contractor.; i. The Facility will provide the biohazard waste bags to hold the biohazard material.; j. It will be the responsibility of the Contractor to dispose of the biohazard waste as per state and federal regulations.
