Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Moves, Adds and Changes (MACs) for voice and data services 2. Basic troubleshooting and repair of voice and data services 3. General construction and maintenance associated with the communications cable plant"-(Cable plant is what we use for term of the cabling. Building out an IT room with racks,, Installing Access points, troubleshooting a bad pair of copper cable. etc.) 4. All work requested on the cable plant will take place between the main distribution frame and the end user’s device. 3. No work on the telephone or data switches is required. Typical tasks include, but is not limited to: 1. The delivery and placement of new desktop telephone equipment, including basic explanation of equipment feature s and functions to customers 2. Cross-connects for both telephone and data circuits 3. Basic troubleshooting of both voice and data circuits 4. Installation of new communication cables, jacks, pathways and other communication infrastructure items 5. Basic construction of telecommunication closets, including the mounting of equipment racks and distribution frames and proper dressing of cables 6. Troubleshooting and repair of outside cable plant
